Birmingham City have now been fined #42,500 to get an incident which found a spectator run on the pitch and assault Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish at March.
For assaulting Aston Villa midfielder Grealish during the Second City derby on March 28, paul Mitchell of Rubery was sentenced.
Mitchell struck Grealish while his back was turned and entered the field of drama.
He was dragged off the pitch after being shot to stewards who followed him to the pitch, in addition to the ground by a blend of Birmingham along with Villa players.
The FA said in a statement:”The club submitted it used all due diligence but had been discovered to have neglected to ensure that its spectator[s], and all persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an organized fashion or refrained from improper and/or violent behavior and/or refrained from encroaching on the pitch region during the EFL Championship fixture against Aston Villa on 10 March 2019.”
